Animus explores the female shadow and the tension between the feminine and the unintegrated masculine. Inspired by Jungian psychology, the series traces Roxy Peroxyde’s process of confronting her own ego and energetic blockages through six energy centres, also known as chakras. Each hyperreal portrait becomes a study of self-confrontation and integration.
