"ANIMUS"
Animus explores the female shadow and the tension between the feminine and the unintegrated masculine. Inspired by Jungian psychology, the series traces my process of confronting ego and energetic blockages through six energy centres, also known as chakras. Each piece becomes a study of self-confrontation and integration.

"MAKE IT MAKE SENSE"
A woman in the midst of an existential crisis has a tattoo on her forearm bearing the The X-Files quote “I Want to Believe.” As the triptych evolves, more freshly made tattoos appear on her body. This series explores the enduring human need to hold faith in something—be it spiritual, existential, or simply meaningful enough to justify existence. The work reflects on how existential dread, in all its forms, continues to evolve with each generation.
Religion, spirituality, and even atheism share the same root impulse: the search for answers to humanity’s oldest question. The atheist’s conviction that nothing lies beyond the self can be as absolute as religious devotion, revealing that to believe in anything, even in the absence of something, is universal and inevitable.
Using the triptych format historically tied to altarpieces, I explore the narrative and emotional range of the question through my own lens, allowing multiple layers of faith, doubt, and longing to coexist. The piece reflects both personal experience and a broader contemplation of how contemporary society continues to seek new answers to ancient questions.
